This special event will give you an introduction to the Ashtanga Vinyasa system, starting with an optional discussion on the Ashtanga methodology and lineage, followed by a 90-minute guided primary series practice.
Ashtanga is a yoga system of rich practices including breath-driven dynamic movement, mantra, and meditation. This is the style from which much of vinyasa, flow, and power yoga styles stem. Its dynamic style hones strength, mobility, discipline, and focus, making it an excellent complement to other movement modalities.
