A musician and graduate of UC Berkeley’s Anthropology program, David has always been keenly interested in world cultures, human potential, and spiritual traditions. In 1995, he traveled to Haridwar, India to work at the Sri Ram orphanage and study classical yoga with Baba Hari Dass–the first yoga teacher of Ram Dass. David (Ramesh) eventually became a certified yoga instructor through the Sivananda Yoga Organization, and has taught in many ashrams and studios in California and India. David is a lifelong yoga student and continues to practice and be amazed by the many forms of yogic science; he especially loves sharing Vedic chanting and devotional music (kirtan), because the pure, powerful vibrations offer healing and a sense of natural oneness with all life.
