About:
Int/adv lyra introduces intermediate-to-advanced-level poses and intermediate transitions on aerial hoop. Students will learn new ways to mount and dismount the hoop while refining basic spin technique and continuing to improve strength and performance quality.
Prerequisites:
-pullover onto bottom bar
- straddle invert onto bottom bar
- hold front and back balances without hands
- familiarity with top bar skills: double hocks and figure four
- hang on a single knee unassisted for a minimum of 5 seconds
- arm beats while on knee hangs and leg beats while hanging on hands
- comfort spinning at a variety of speeds
