This November 5th - 7th, the American Alpine Club and CAMP Technical Adventure Equipment invite you to the world-class climbing mecca of Bishop, California for the Bishop Fall Highball Craggin' Classic!

This 3-day climbing festival is a true celebration of climbing and community in the Eastern Sierra. Started over a decade ago by local climbers looking to clean up the Buttermilks and drink some beers with friends, the Highball has always been a grassroots event by climbers, for climbers. The event has grown to feature films, climbing clinics, slideshows, games, gear, local beer, and good times—all in a massive gathering in the heart of downtown Bishop. And of course, we take pride in giving back through local stewardship projects, which take place in the Volcanic Tablelands and the Buttermilks.

This year we are opening the weekend with a presentation by Arc’teryx athlete Jordan Cannon, showing the film Free as Can Be. Saturday night entertainment starts with Graham Zimmerman on the intersection of climbing, social justice, and climate change in addition to our keynote speaker, Malik Martin! In typical Craggin’ fashion, the weekend will include two nights of parties, service projects to tend to the land we love, and climbing clinics to keep you safe and get you climbing harder. Not attending a climbing clinic? No problem, because we have workshops, walking tours, and yoga to keep your weekend filled to the brim. Oh, and there’s good climbing. All over. More need not be said.

Keep in touch, stay up to date, share photos, and find climbing partners and carpools in the Facebook group AAC Bishop Fall Highball Craggin' Classic and on Instagram @bishopcragginclassic
